Since school let out, we have been busy with many private lessons, inservice days, a middle school band camp, the big dance show, running our very own "got the musical bug" camp....... and PAINTING!!! Well, Gordon's been painting, Catherine has been at school! We did a LOT of painting in October when we first moved in! Then Christmas and Musical season stopped us, and now that school is out --- we are back in gear! The goal is to have everything finished by next Thursday evening when we leave for our cruise vacation! So when we return - we only need to do the baby's room, bathroom's, and begin the massive operation of white trim (maybe by the time our baby is in Kindergarten the white trim will be done!!!)......
until more is complete- here are some pictures of what has been done so far....
Living Room / Music Studio has been painted a stone beige... looks great with this wall hanging
and with Gordon's solider's that have finally been hung and placed accordingly!
The entry has been painted Lilac, and going up the stairs and upstairs hallway a "white lilac"
I've been CLEANING closets like mad, trashing, goodwilling, and trying to be organized! Hopefully tomorrow we can get the office ready for a basic coating of paint to clean it up so we can move all guest room items into the office!!! Oh What Fun!

I HATE PAINTING!!! What a chore. But the end product is so fantastic. I have a master bathroom stairing at me saying "please paint me, white is boring" and we have white trim coming out our ears as well that terribly needs done, I am also trying to find the energy to refinsh our china hutch (which was given to us by our neighbor in New Mexico, he was going to throw it out so you can imagine how awesome it is LOL). What you've done so far looks great and I can't wait to see more and see it in person hopefully in the next few months!!
